Siroos worked closely with scholar Mohammad Reza Darvishi as a guide and professional photographer in Darvishi's mega project on forming the encyclopedia of Persian instruments. So far 2 volumes has been released and this incredible work captured world wide attention and number of awards, among them is the "The Klaus P. Wachsmann Prize for the best publication in the field of musical instrument research and organology".
